Sun Modul, for roofing and cladding
SUN MODUL is a system that includes polycarbonate with honeycomb structure, with a patented connection consisting of freestanding steel posts and anti-skid polycarbonate covers.
Sun Modul Panels
SUN MODUL panels are manufactured by extrusion based on virgin polycarbonate. They have optimum brightness and, thanks to the component raw material, are practically unbreakable. The stability and durability of SUN MODUL panels over time, including resistance to atmospheric agents, are ensured by a special high-tech anti-UV treatment. Available colors: colorless and, on request, white diffusing and smoked bronze.
The alveolar structure gives the SUN MODUL panels a high rigidity as well as an excellent thermo-insulating property:

Thick. 25 mm - 5 walls - K = 1.65 W / m²K
SUN MODUL panels are lightweight and easy to install.
The specific shape of the panels makes them easily stackable, enabling rational storage and a net reduction in transport costs.
The modular width of the SUN MODUL system is 500mm. This modularity is aesthetically highlighted by the polycarbonate anti-creeping hoods that ensure exceptional overall performance.
Steel uprights and polycarbonate cowls
Steel uprights, by their adapted shape, allow the installation of the SUN MODUL panels by interlocking, which makes the assembly of the system really simple. The thickness and geometry of the steel uprightq guarantee a very high stiffness, giving a self-supporting support of up to three meters (depending on load and application).
The assembly, steel uprights and polycarbonate cowls anti-unclip, ensures a perfect watertightness. The steel posts, set back from the SUN MODUL panels, avoid any thermal bridging.They are galvanized and plasticized, ensuring both aesthetics and durability.
By using a support structure, the steel posts can be fastened after the SUN MODUL panels are interlocked, thus saving considerable time for installation.
Polycarbonate cowls are UV-treated and, by their specific shape, guarantee an anti-unclip system.
The cowl appearance gives the whole system the impression of a continuous surface.
Frames and accessories
The system is supplemented by an aluminum profile frame. The framing easily adapts to all existing structures. PE seals ensure air tightness.
